The 2024 edition of the fair, the largest literary event in the country, will take place at the landmark Palace of Culture and Science in the Polish capital until May 26.

This year's fair will feature Italy as the guest country of honor, under the Italian motto Ci vuole un fiore, which translates to "It takes a flower."

The motto is derived from a poem by Italian poet Gianni Rodari, according to the Italian ambassador to Poland, Luca Franchetti Pardo.

Radio Poland's Ada Janiszewska has the details.
